Young Earth Leaders Programme

As we envision the future of our planet, the need for a new generation of leaders equipped to address current environmental challenges becomes evident. Our planet is in crisis, grappling with issues such as climate change, pollution, and deforestation that disrupt the delicate balance of ecosystems. While adults bear the responsibility to take action, empowering young people as agents of change is equally essential. The manual is specifically designed to provide practical guidance and inspiration, fostering the development of effective environmental leaders among the youth.

Keeping in this view, The Department of School Education entrusted and collaborated with CGR to facilitate School Earth Clubs-Young Earth Leaders Programme. This program aims to shape a generation of leaders defined by their commitment to sustainability and environmentalism. By arming young individuals with knowledge and tools, we can collectively build a better future for ourselves and the generations to come. Presently, the programme is being implemented in 60 Government High Schools in 6 districts (Nagar Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Rangareddy, Vikarabad and Mahabubabad).
