Plantation Program in Gummadidduru Buddhist Archaeological site

Council for Green Revolution (CGR) with the active collaboration of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) started the prestigious Plantation Program in Gummadidduru Buddhist Archaeological site (Penuganchiprolu mandal, Krishna District) with inauguration being held on 4th Aug, 2018. The inaugural was attended by guests, Shri. Sriram Rajgopal (Thathaiah), Member of Legislative assembly of Jaggaiahpet, Shri. Nettem Raghuram, former-minister Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Training on Swacha Patashala and Haritha Patashala – Pillalamarri, Mahabubnagar

From CGR, C. Umamaheswar Reddy, Environmental Scientist was an invited speaker at training on Swacha Patashala and Haritha Patashala on 1st August 2018 organized by DFO office Mahabaubnagar at Pillalamarri training hall. The training was intended to promote the participation of school children in Haritha haram programme for the year 2018 in the district. Plantation Programme in Association with FACT-SET    

The event was  organized by Council For Green Revolution on  28th july 2018 with the support from Fact-Set. The programme carried out in Maisigandi village in Amangal  Mandal in Rangareddy District and Girikothapally village in Madgul Mandal  in Rangareddy District At Maisigandi 1,110 saplings were planted and  1,072 saplings were planted at Girikothapally . Trainers Training on Swacha Patashala and Haritha Patashala at Forest Academy, Dulapally

CGR was invited by Telangana State Forest Academy, to impart training to the trainers on 26th& 27th of July, 2018 at its premises in Dulapally.  The training was on Swacha Patashala and Haritha Patashala  to promote the participation of school children  in Haritha haram programme for the year 2018 . The programme was inaugurated by Sri P. K. Harita Patashala Planning Meeting at Aranya Bhavan

CGR has been invited by Telangana State Forest Academy to a planning meeting on  Swacha Patashala-Harita Patasala organised on 26 May 2018 at Aranya Bhavan. The purpose of the meeting is to implement  Harithaharam massive tree plantation through school children. CGR shared its work and the methodology.  C. Earth Centre Foundation Stone

The Foundation stone for the proposed Earth Centre was laid on the CGRs 9th Foundation Day i.e. the Earth Day, 22 April 2018 at Anmaspally village (Hyderabad to Srishailam road) which is just 20 km away from the Hyderabad airport. The foundation stone was laid by Shri M.C. Mehta, Advocate Supreme Court of India and an eminent enviro-legal activist.The Earth Centre works for environmental education and research in more ambitious ways, so as to reach more people.
